A selection of spreads out of a booklet, with a series of photographs, I made in early 2015 where I explored withered flowers as a matter of something many people find ugly. I connected the flowers with the way we humans see life and death. I found out that you might think of withered flowers as depressing because it is an unaware reminder of your own death. Hence a lot of people keep them in their vase even after they have started to wither because they see the beauty in it.
